I also used a $5 off $50 Publix coupon!
So after discounts and paying tax my total was $6.63!!! I saved $245.95!!!

My hubby came home from WAGS with a coupon book for me..left it for me to find on the table and when I said “hey coupons!!!”, he started laughing soo hard. lol I was too busy recovering from the holiday to do any shopping either :/ Glad to hear I wasn’t alone though.

I’m fairly new to what I call “NFL-level couponing”, so you guys may not consider this much of a deal but I did.

This week, Post Bite-Sized Shredded Wheat cereal (hubby eats it) was on sale at Kroger at 2 for $4. Thanks to several copies of the Publix Family Winter Savings booklet, I had a 75 cents off coupon for every box I bought. I got 8 boxes for about $10. Considering that just one box usually costs nearly $4, I thought that was pretty darned good.

Normally, I wouldn’t buy so much at one time but the coupon expires at the end of the month. My husband was kind of stunned but when he saw the receipt, he had no problem with it. I caught him clipping a coupon this week and I giggled. He’s hooked, too!
