Did everyone else see the peelie (not sure if that is right – the one where it spits out a coupon at a time) for $3.00 off Starbucks coffee? Even with the price of 8.99 a bag, that makes it only $5.99! I spoiled myself and bought a bag at regular price – haven’t had Starbucks coffee in months!!!

I actually don’t have a problem with taking a few peelies that i know I will use in the future. I won’t stand there and take 50, but five or six? Yep. And really, if the coupon, like in the case of Scrubbing Bubbles recently, is off 2. Like, $2/2, and there is a coupon on every single can- you only need one coupon per two cans. So if I take four? There’s still 70 left on bottles I didn’t snag- and if you buy four cans, you only need two. Not to mention- if I don’t take them now? They won’t be there when I want to use them.

It’s a constant debate, but I don’t think it’s “inappropriate behavior”. It’s just one of those issues couponers will alwayys debate. I don’t think anyone should be judgmental of others on this one. Along the same lines of, how many of the coupon booklets do you take? 1? 5? 30? Where’s the line? Every person is going to have a different feeling about this, and you have to do what you feel is right for YOU.

Just an FYI for any Atlanta shoppers, I found no peelies on the Carroll Meyer chilli spice pack that’s BOGO this week. And I looked on every box. I don’t think our area ever got the peelies because you can usually tell where they’ve been. And there were no peelies on the ones I happened to see at Kroger over the weekend. Still, not a bad deal.

I love going to publix buying $106 worth of baby products (and some other food items)and only paying $20. For those who use similac great sale right now. They have buy 2 powder get $5.00 off and another coupon for free wipes for buying a powder. Adding the $5 checks and Flips from food lion and some coupons from target I really made out. I will never shop any where else for food products.

I just wanted to mention that the ALL small and mighty is bogo at my store. Hwy 96, warner robins ga. So with the $2 coupon you get them for 50 cents apiece. They have some bottles that have 25% more in them as well. Great deal!

I can’t stand it when people commit peelie theft.. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve picked up something and there is a sticker from where a peelie used to be. I look on ebay for coupons sometimes and I just can’t buy from people that list peelies. I wouldn’t have to buy them if they weren’t stealing them. lol

Maria, I TOTALLY agree with your previous posting!! Taking peelies is not at all the right thing to do!

As for the Huggies in sale ad coupon, I asked the manager if I could use the babyclub Q AND the sale ad Q and she said yes. I used the Huggies $2 Q’s (2), BABYCLUB $10/2, and the store sale ad Q for $3(2) and bought 2 boxes of diapers for the price of ONE. We normally use Pampers, but that was too good of a deal to pass up!!

After reading some of the comments posted here, I feel compel to bring up an issue regarding peelie use or misuse. Is it ok to remove peelies from items you’re not buying? Is it ok to remove these peelies from items you’re not buying and turning around and sell them on ebay? I think peelies are intended for the people buying this product and just for anyone to come and grab. I think the stores have blinkies for that. Don’t get me wrong, I love to save money whenever possible, but where do you draw the line? I think we need to coupon with integrity and responsibility and not use this forum to promote behavior that is inappropriate.

I used the $1/1 Nabisco cracker coupon (with the picture of Ritz and wheat thins) for the Nabisco Toasted Chips, Assorted Varieties, 8.1-oz bag, BOGO $3.39 tonight. The guy scanned it and it went through with no beeps. Makes those .70 a bag.
