Ad Updated!

Kristine let me know that Betty Crocker added a bunch of new coupons that correlate with the ad that starts 1/1/10 and Amanda over at A Few Short Cuts posted the insert preview for this week…It is a big week with FIVE inserts this weekend!!  SO— I added a bunch of new match ups to the Weekly Ad Sneak Peek HERE and modified the Super Deals HERE and the IPAC post has been updated HERE too!!

Tons Of Great Coupons–Print Before They Reset

 

If you haven’t checked lately you might want to go HERE to Coupons.com –there are a TON of great coupons!  I am not sure which ones will reset so I figure I will grab the ones I might use just in case and keep my fingers crossed the good ones reset so I can print them again Here are some of my favorites:

I am absolutely thrilled to report that I Heart Publix has received over one million visitors to date!!!  I am completely shocked and a bit in awe!  I started this site about 9 months ago as a way to pass on deals to a few friends and now look what has happened!!  I know it may not seem like a huge deal to some but for me it is incredible.  For a site that only covers one store that is only in five states I’d say that is pretty darn good

Simple Grocery Spreadsheet

 UPDATE–I have changed the file to an XLS format which should work with all versions of Excel–so try again if you were having issue.

Another request that MANY of you have made is how to get a copy of a simple spreadsheet.  I personally need more than a shopping list…I need to have a detailed spreadsheet listing quantity, price, coupons and ultimately what my final cost should be.  I love being able to see exactly what I am spending on each item and the final cost. I can print my spreadsheet and not only have my shopping list but a quick reference for price and a way to ensure what I see at checkout is in line with what I expect to pay!! Since the spreadsheet does the calculations all I need to do it a little typing–then print and shop!!

Here is an example of the spreadsheet I use.

I have created a simple spreadsheet that you can access HERE. If you would like to use it all you need to do is right click on the blue link and save it to your computer.  Then you will fill in the product, quantity, price and coupon fields.  You do not  need to complete the TOTAL field as that will be automatically calculated! I have put in a couple of items as a sample–just replace my items with yours and you will be all set.  After I shop I go back to my spreadsheet and reconcile with any differences. I can then see exactly how much money I spend per week (I actually pull that total into a separate spreadsheet so I can easily track my overall spending).

Feel free to give it a try!  I know this may not be everyone’s cup of tea–but I thought I would offer a solution for those that would like to supercharge their basic shopping list

Item Price After Coupon (IPAC)

I received  mixed feedback regarding listing the Item Price After Coupon (IPAC).  Some of you loved it while others really disliked the idea.  So I decided to list them in addtion to the full ad HERE. To see the complete list you will have to click the read more link at the bottom of this post.  That way if you want to see it then you just need to click–if you don’t care to see the list just move to the next post  I will add a new category called IPAC.  If you ever need to see the archived IPAC posts all you need to do is click IPAC under categories in the left sidebar and they will all be there
