Weekly Totals

November 13, 2009

I just did one shopping trip to Publix this week.  I needed to grab some fruits and veggies for my menu this week as well the staples (milk & eggs).  I was also able to grab some things to add to my stockpile for super cheap! Do you see the price I paid for cream of chicken soup?!  Almost 1/4 of my total is for 3 cans of soup…I have totally depleted my cooking soup stockpile! I typically use several cans per week so I am going to have to find a good deal somewhere and soon!!

This week I spent $15.66 OOP for $116.41 worth of groceries.  That means I saved 87% this week! I just looked back at my past two weeks of weekly totals and noticed that I have spent $45.97 for three weeks combined! I am well under my $30 weekly average. It might be time to inventory my pantry and replenish things that are low (like cooking soups icon smile Weekly Totals )

Here is what I got for $15.66 OOP:

I spent $6.52 for $16.54 worth of groceries. It would have been alot cheaper, but my significant other had to have Publix’s Deli cupcakes ($4.99)……:(

I did pretty well with the cream of chicken at food lion. I had a 40 cents off of 4 I think and a $1 off 4 and they were b1g1. I know I bought 40 items at food lion for around $7 and 8 cans of it was cream of chicken and 8 cans of swanson broth.. many other items. I hope this helps.

I spent $93 and saved $110, but so much of that was the turkey, aluminum foil, milk, those awesome greenwise steaks that is on sale, and other staples I don’t have stocked. =) It isn’t 80%+, but it is a lot better than before I started couponing.

I used the Walgreens $5 off $25 at Publix and that helped a lot. But they wouldn’t let me use the Knox $4/1 Q for gelatin. Bummer. My store also did not have the Keebler w/ Toy Voucher logos. Wal-Mart did and they were on sale for $2 each.
