I asked my local Publix in Columbus, GA (on Macon Rd) if they accept military coupons and they said they do. They only accept those as well as Piggly Wiggly and Winn Dixie as competitors, but do not accept Rite-Aid, Walgreens, CVS or Target coupons.

Hi Shannon! Our local Publix accepts competitor coupons and views the military coupons as such. (We have a Naval base and an AF base in the area.) The military match-ups that Kay and I provide to Michelle are for those who have access to the military q's and whose Publix accepts them. Hope this helps!

Military coupons are found at on post/base locations and publications put out on post by DeCa and Aafes. The way they have been described to me is they are simply an offer made just to the military (like a special promotion or military discount) and have to be used on post at the commissary or an exchange store.
You can not use a military and manufacture coupons together. I have tried. It has to be a DeCa or Aafes and manufacture coupon together at the commissary.
I have never tried to use them at Publix before, but I would imagine that they would possibly be concidered compeditor coupons but you would have to be somewhere like Columbus or Savannah by a military instalition for DeCa to be concidered a compeditor.
