If anyone still needs to run to the store I would suggest getting your dove deodorant this week. It’s on sale for 2.79. Use 2 $2.00 coupons from the dove site and the green advantage buy coupon for b1g1 and you’ve got some nice overage.

Brooke – at my Publix in NW Florida, I asked at the CS counter first, and the manager said yes, it was good for ANY 4 GM products. I have used it successfully for Pillsbury items, Betty Crocker items, Progresso, etc. I purchased 16 trays of the Simply cookie dough (4 different trips/2 stores!), all FREE! They are on sale now for $2.00: Buy 4 ($8.00), use 4 $1/1 printables (down to $4.00), and then use one $4/4 GM coupon, and all 4 are FREE. I can’t think of any cereal that is just 5 ounces, so I can’t imagine that it was meant for just cereal.

Do you think Publix really means ANY GMills products, or just the ones that are actually, “General Mills” products, like cereals? Because if not, then you could really rack up on the free groceries this week…everything from Pillsbury items, Old El Paso items, Green Giant items and even Yoplait items…anything over 5 oz, right? So a box of Go-Gurts would count? Tubs of Betty Crocker icing? Ohhhh….I hope people have good luck with this coupon! Report your findings people!!!

- $4 (in ad q) new total = $2.98
- Four .40/1 coupons (FL Publix do not double so you will only get face value) new total = $1.38
Even cheaper if you use the .50/1 coupons. You can use coupons on the FREE items as those are considered a purchase! That is why Publix is so WONDERFUL!

I think I just answered my own questions by reading FAQ’s but it seems like living in FL has it’s downfalls. I believe I’ve assumed correctly and I am immune from these super deals. Is that right?

I’m new to couponing and am VERY confused! Can someone please clarify how using the MQ’s and Publix Q will add up to free on Green Giant veggies? If they are 3.49 a bag and there is a coupon of $4 off from Publix, I’m assuming that means I’m getting 8 bags because I have to buy 4 and then I’ll be getting the other for free. Is that right? Also, I see that both posts regarding this say .40/1 doubled or .50/1 doubled. What exactly does that mean? Publix doesn’t double coupons do they?

I feel like if someone is so kind to break this down into newbie/lamens terms this formula will apply to all of the other freebies you’ve posted as well. Of course I couldn’t figure out the math on those either! I’m sure you are all saying “duh new girl” but I hope you’ll lend me a hand and teach me these trick of the trade.

You can now print the publix coupons (like the GM for this week) at the publix website. They recently updated the weekly add application and it has a tab for the coupons. The tab is on the far right had side.
