In East Orlando FL Publix there is also an in-store coupon for .75/1 Egg Beaters. Stack the $1/1 with it and get them for free!

New high dollar Old El Paso q on the Click.call.mail site- it’s for $1/2 any Old El paso (excluding refrigerated, frozen or soup) – could make for cheap or free with a sale. (You could use it on the meals this week, but I’d wait for something better to come along.)

Brenda… you use the Albertsons coupons at Publix? That must be pretty good b/c I like the Alb. bog2 deals, but they always seem to jack up the prices on that item.. so if it can be used at Publix, does that work out pretty well??

Amy I live in FL. to I use other store coupons and they take them and I love albertson coupons they always have good coupons last week got hamburger bog2 free and pork chops bog2 and a roast bog2 saved a bundle

Hi all I think this is the first time I have posted on this site.
Anyway as far as accepting competitor coupons each publix store is different. Here in Gainesville Fl. we have about 12 Publix stores. Each store has a different policy. It all depends on the store manager, even sometimes the front desk person or cashier. It all depends on whether or not they see the big picture. I used to work for Publix and there was a saying “you can’t give publix away”. Basically you do anything to make the customer happy even if it means giving them a cake free because something minor was screwed up on it. Again though it all depends on who you are dealing with at the store. If the manager is shortsighted and only sees his daily profit and loss statement than they will be more strict. For instance, at one store here they were so strict on coupons it was useless to even try and go there. Recently they put in a new manager and he will take almost coupon you want to bring in. So don’t loss heart. Just follow the rules the store lays out at the time and keep asking. Things change constantly.

I just came from Publix, and the cheapest health choice meal at my store was $2.60. 50% off would make it $1.30. Hope this helps.

Sunni – I’m in FL too, and none of the Publix around here take other store coupons anymore, like Target, etc. Unless there is a Super Target near by and it is a Super Target coupon (which the girl at the desk tells me is different from a regular target coupon), so there have been several people that have been upset trying to use their Target coupons and they can’t anymore. I never knew they did it at mine, I was told when I asked a while back that they only took other grocery store coupons, but still other people have been allowed to use Target coupons until a couple of weeks ago, I guess they are getting strict on it now. They have been real funny w/other coupons lately, and scrutinizing them big time. They must be having lots of problems w/fraud or something? Anyway, I haven’t seen any signs posted, but then again, I’m not all that observant, I will look next time I’m there, but yes, I think they are changing, or maybe it is a store by store, or regional option or something, but all of the ones in my county have changed their policy. They do not accept Food Lion (Flips) either, since we don’t have Food Lion’s in FL anymore, at least not my section of FL. Thanks Jen! That is good insight to know. I have been using Target, walgreens and cvs coupons at this location without any issue. I hope that this Publix is not changing because using the non grocery store coupons has been a huge budget helper and the only reason I drive past 3 Kroger stores to go to Publix.
