Weekly Totals

This has been another CRAZY week. I have a million things on my to do list and hope to accomplish a bunch this weekend.  I did a little shopping this week –one big trip and a few smaller ones while we were out and about.  I am listing the items that I got this week but honestly I don’t have time to do the spreadsheet.  I pretty much used all the coupons listed in the ad posts as well as a few register rewards…so nothing amazing.  This week I spent $11.15 for $264.56 worth of products which is a savings of 96% .  I should be able to keep the grey hair away for a while

I Heart Publix Is On Facebook

Ok I will admit that I am somewhat Facebook challenged.  All of my friends pick on me as I have been quite a slacker when it comes to keeping up with my personal Facebook page–I haven’t uploaded a new photo in almost a year.  So I decided that it was time for a change!

Good Deal On Snacks

Sue found a great deal to share: Right now Publix has the TGI Friday’s Anytime frozen snacks for $2.69. Sue used the $2/2 coupon from the Toss 4 Cash booklet with $1/1 peelies found on the packages to get them for .69¢ each!

A Few Deals

I was able to sneak off to Publix tonight without the boys so I got a chance to look around and do a little price checking.  Here are a couple of things I wanted to share:

1. Dole Juice (Pineapple and Pineapple Mango) are an unadvertised BOGO $1.79. Use the $.50/1 (doubles to $1) from 06-14-09 SS to get each for FREE!!!
2. Barilla Piccolini is priced at $.79. Use the $.50/1 (doubles to $1) from 08-23-09 SS to get each box for FREE!!!
3. Tyson Skillet Creations are on sale for $4.99 and there are numerous $1/1 coupons (blinkie; 06-07-09 SS; 07-26-09 SS) So you will only have to pay $3.99 OOP and then you can send in for a full rebate HERE.  

Whole Foods Freebies At Publix???

Meagan asked me last night if the FREE Whole Food coupons are valid at Publix.  Honestly– I am not sure but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to ask! If your store considers Whole Foods a competitor then you might be pleasantly suprised (make sure you ask your store!)  Here are the coupons:

Meal Deal: Fried Catfish Fingers

I love that Amanda not only comes up with delious and inexpensive meals for us but she is aware that most of us don’t want to spend hours preparing and cooking in the kitchen.  This week she has a family friendly meal that takes about 15 minutes to prepare from start to finish.  Here is what is on the menu this week:

Fried Catfish Fingers
Corn on the Cobb
Potato Salad

All of that for 15 minutes in the kitchen and you can make it all for around $2.87 per person from the sale this week at Publix—Fabulous!!
