New Bloom Printables

For those of you whose Publix considers Bloom a competitor…you are in luck!  Bloom now offers printables similar to the Food Lion Internet Printables (FLIP’s) 

Thanks to a report on HCW–all you have to do is go HERE and sign up for their newsletter.  At the bottom of the emailed newsletter there will be a link to print coupons.  The current coupons are HERE:

Weekly Totals

You all may be shocked to learn that my  total spent for the week is a whopping $2.59.  No,  that is not a typo–I spent less than $3 this week because I didn’t do my typical weekly shopping!  Instead I chose to cook from the pantry and use my stockpile.  My stockpile is rather large and due to the long Easter ad–I did not shop at the beginning of the week as I had already bought most everything I needed from that sale the week prior.  I did go on Tuesday and get a few more super cheap vitamins and take advantage of the free bag and cheap lightbulbs in honor of earth day (thus the $2.59).  I had intended to shop the new sale on Thursday but just never got a chance. 

I can’t wait to shop this coming week.  I plan on loading my freezer with the Starkist Seasations and hopefully getting about $25+ of meat plus all of my groceries for less than $10!!!  I promise I will keep you posted!

Site Modification

I have decided to create a new tab in an attempt to make the site more user friendly!  I know many times you may need to come to the site just to look at the ad or coupon match ups. So instead of having to search through many posts, you can now just click the tab (under the iheartpublix logo)  titled “Weekly Ads” and there will be a direct link to the weekly ads as well as a link to the corresponding super deals post.  I hope this will make the site easier to navigate!

Celebrate Those You Love Sweepstakes

My boys had their weekly SoccerTots classes today–so I decided to stop in a Publix that I rarely visit.  I was able to find the $5/50 I just told you about and I found a new Sweepstakes form entitled Celebrate Those You Love.  If you can’t find the entry form in your store–go HERE for the rules and alternate method of entry!

I am keeping my fingers crossed on this one–the grand prize is $10, 000 in cash and a $5000 Publix gift card!  WOW!!

$5/50 Coupon in New Booklet

OK–so I wasn’t among one of the lucky ones to receive the $5/30 mailer that I told you about a few days ago…but, I am not sad as I just found a new book at a couple of the stores I went to today.  Remeber the Family promo I told you about yesterday…well there is a booklet that corresponds with the promo called FAMILY REUNION–Planning Guide.  It is a nifty little booklet and on the back cover is a $5/50 that doesn’t expire until 10/31/09. 

They are handing these out on Sunday…so even if you store is not participating in the Family Promo they should still have the booklets to pass out!

Bring the Family Back to the Table Event

On April 26 from 1-4pm  select Publix stores will be having a family event. Publix is promoting the importance of bringing family together–specifically bringing families back to the dinner table.  There will be product demonstrations in all departments, samples and they are giving away special Publix insulated bags!

Call your store to see if they are participating.  None of my local stores are participating but I did find out that the Cascade, Camp Creek and Fairburn, Georgia locations are all participating!
