I called and they said they will accept any competitors coupons. Guess I will be making a monthly shopping trip to here from Hernando, FL!!!
All of the Publix stores in Citrus County, FL have changed their coupon policy. They do not allow coupon overages and the Inverness store does not allow the use of multiple Publix coupons on multiples of the same item (only one allowed per customer as YOU SHOULD ONLY BE TAKING one sales flyer per customer or printing out one Publix coupon per customer). The best local Publix store for couponing is their new store in Ocala (just north of the Walmart on 200):

They accept Winn Dixie, Sweetbay, Dollar General, Save-Alot, Walgreens, CVS and Target competitor coupons. They allow coupon overages and even give you store credit if your total bill comes out negative! They allow one manufacturer coupon to be used along with one Publix OR Competitor coupon on each item including both items in a BOGO deal. They do not have a limit on the number of Publix sales flyer coupons a customer can use in one visit. The only thing they don’t do is accept any expired coupons.
They no longer accept Target coupons.
Yes you are right. Just went to all Ocala Publix and none are accepting Target coupons
