With two boys you know that I go through my fair share of stain remover.

My boys are 10 and 11 years old and to this day they still use their pants as a napkin! I swear to you that I have tried to teach them to use their manners but for some reason the whole napkin thing just will not stick. Sure, they will use a napkin to wipe their mouths…but I have actually watched them wipe their dirty hands on their pants EVEN with a napkin in their lap! Please tell me that I am not a bad mom and this is just a stage that will eventually pass?

I have a routine when I do laundry. First, I have to fix their clothes as you know everything in the hamper is always inside out. Once that is done, I start examining them and spraying Shout® Free on all the stains. It’s an absolute necessity for EVERY.SINGLE.LOAD without fail!

Shout® Free is my stain remover of choice. Jeb has eczema and has had very sensitive skin since birth so having a product that has no added dyes or fragrances only makes sense. I choose Shout® Free because it’s gentle on Jeb’s sensitive skin and removes all the stains that my boys manage to make.

Now if you are wondering…the boys have started to help me with laundry. The rule at my house is when you hit double digits you must do at least one load of laundry each week as part of the weekly chore list. Jeb just hit that milestone in August, so now I have two helpers!  I am hoping that having them experience how much effort it takes to wash clothes will help them realize that keeping their clothes cleaner makes the chore go much faster. So far this lesson hasn’t yet sunk in…but I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Find Shout® Free in the laundry aisle at Publix. Pick up stain remover that effectively removes stains and offers piece-of-mind that it won’t harm your family’s skin or trigger allergic reactions.
