I laughed when I read the question – what are some neglected areas.. Lets just say – at this point in my life, my entire house is neglected. From the dusty furniture and picture frames to the slobber covered sliding doors, and lets not even look behind closed doors or cabinets. However, I must say, as my boys get older, the condition of our household is improving. My oldest just turned 8 years old and we have begun a chore chart. His chores include changing all of the garbage in the bathrooms, wiping down the baseboards with Pledge (soo happy to pass this one off – it hurts to bend that low), wiping down his bathroom surfaces with Windex, making his bed, and dry mopping the floors. He has taken charge and does his chore for the day as soon as he is finished with breakfast. I am so proud of him!

Never realized how bad the baseboards looked until I saw a commercial that caused me to notice them. They definitely need some love.
I don’t mind doing the windows as they can all be done from the inside…..but…. those blinds really get me down, got to be worst then cleaning toilets.
Cleaning out the garage…..It just seems we accumulate more stuff and it’s all over and then we have the dogs running in and out from the yard making a mess.
