Well, the new year is off to a good start. How many of you all have stuck to your resolutions up to this point? I am doing pretty good so far. I always try to keep my goals manageable so that little up’s and down’s don’t totally take me off track.

I am guessing that many of you put “eating better” on your 2017 resolution list. It’s a great goal and will be easier to accomplish if you have a plan in place. Choosing the right foods is so important for health and happiness.

The goal at my house is balance. Like most families, things are rushed and we are always doing about a million things in a typical day. Dinnertime is when we slow down and everyone sits together to enjoy a meal and discuss the day. I try to balance the things my guys enjoy with the things that they need. Brussels Sprouts, asparagus and zucchini aren’t always a welcome site on their plates but it makes me feel better and gives me some hope that the constant exposure will help them grow to enjoy those foods at some point. Of course paired with those non-favorites, I’ll add in some of the things they love…like mac & cheese. Luckily there’s a brand that not only tastes great but also provides great protein for their growing bodies—Muscle Mac Macaroni & Cheese

Muscle Mac Macaroni & Cheese has more than twice the protein per serving than any other national brand. Each serving offers 20 grams of protein per serving. You’ll also be happy to know that the pasta is GMO Free and made with real cheese. Plus is has no synthetic dyes or colors! You get great taste and nutrition that your whole family will love.

Protein benefits folks of all ages. It’s great for curbing hunger and can boost your immune system. So why not add in a delicious high protein mac & cheese to your menu? You’ll be happy to see them clean their plate knowing that they are lots of protein and they’ll be happy eating something that tastes great…it’s a win/win! Stop by Publix and stock up on the boxed and/or mac & cheese cups for an easy meal or side dish.
