Christmas is a little over a week away. I am sure you are all trying to finish up your shopping and knock out those to-do lists. I have most of my shopping done and now it’s a matter of wrapping and putting together all my gift baskets.

Like many of you, I often grab items that are a great deal throughout the year. I then create big gift baskets for friends and family. I can give great gifts that are easy on my wallet yet still loved by the recipient!

I try to build baskets based on what I think each person will like. Teenage girls get makeup, hair products and body products. I give the guys bottle openers, sports items, and shaving essentials. The women get fragrances, lotions and body care items.

Of course there are a few things that are great no matter who the basket is for. I always like to tuck in some candies and seasonal fragrances in everyone’s basket! Those items just make the basket seem complete. All I have to do is add some ribbon and I have a holiday gift that is just perfect!

While not fancy or expensive, I know it will bring a smile to their faces and let’s them know that we were thinking about them this holiday. I’ll wrap with a little cellophane and finish it off with a bow. My husband can then drop it off on their porch on his way out tomorrow morning.
