    • I use rotisserie chicken in making chicken pot pie.

  3. I have always used leftover rotisserie chicken to make chicken and dumplings for dinner the next night! My husband is from Utah and he just loves my southern cooking (I am from Alabama).

  42. The first day, we’ll cut part of it off the bone and savor the delicious taste you just can’t beat of fresh, hot rotisserie chicken. We’ll also take some to my elderly mom to enjoy. Then we’ll cut the rest off the bone and eat it the next day in a sandwich. After the chicken is gone, I will put the bones and scraps in a large pot and stew it with a good amount of water and freeze the broth for the next time I need chicken broth in a recipe.

I used it for a quick super last night, and it will be the centerpiece for tonight too. Easy meals are a HUGE blessing when you’re nesting!

  162. We like our rotisserie just the way it is! Add Publix red potato salad, or an Uncle Ben’s Ready rice and a Hawaiian roll for a fast, easy meal.

  173. Happy Friday. The free chicken means I don’t have to cook dinner tonight! Great way to start the weekend. We use the leftovers on salads.

  174. When we do the PG free chicken deals naturally I stock up on some great things for my household. The chicken is the icing on the cake. What we do is split the chicken in half and use our food saver to seal each half. Then we throw them in the freezer. When we have a long day or need a quick meal then we get one out. They are as fresh and tasty as when we sealed them.

  230. I will debone this delicious chicken after using 2 servings for both myself and hubby(will bake us sweet potatoes and cook a veggie for this meal). The next day I will make”arroz con pollo” which is Puerto Rican yellow rice and chicken. I will make the base for this rice dish and simmer…the last 10 minutes of cooking, I will add the cut up cooked chicken. I did this, the last time I bought a whole chicken and it was a hit with hubby. This time I will be serving my parents this rice and chicken dish. My 89 year old mom is recovering from a fall( fractured femur). She and dad need all the help they can as far as meals. I know they will enjoy this rotisserie chicken as I and my husband did!
