Over the past few weeks, I have been sharing some of the ways that I use Ziploc® brand bags and containers around my home. Today I thought I would share one of my favorite things ever – my ribbon boxes!
I have several different boxes and I usually group the ribbons by color, type and/or holiday. So the box above is one of my curling ribbon boxes. You simply use a drill or a pick to poke a hole the size of your ribbon into the Ziploc® brand container and thread the ribbon through the hole. The ribbon stays neat and contained inside the container. No more tangled ribbon! You grab your ribbon box, use only what you need – then put it away. How handy!

Yep, I have been doing this (collecting ribbon) for a long time and I have a few of those new ziploc containers at home for this purpose. In my office though, I have four, yes four cabinets (like the ones you get at Target, about 60″ tall, 30″ wide, like a bookshelf but with doors) FULL of ribbons and trims and something like this is the only way to keep them all organized and easy to access. When they brought out those new ziploc containers and we had all those coupons around the holidays last yearI bought a couple dozen of those wonderful containers and did just what Michelle did above and they work GREAT!!
