   I use Glade in my bedroom to help me relax. There are so many people in this house and I am constantly fighting all kinds of odors. I keep a dual plug in in my bedroom plus some spray AND a candle for when I really want to freshen things up.

    I like to use clean linen while I’m “deep” cleaning” my home. When I’m baking an apple/ cinnamon recipe, I use the glade apple/ cinnamon scent. When i burn my fireplace, i like to use the wood-scented melts that you’d find around November. I try to find a scent to match whatever I’m doing.

    I love to use the wax melts as well. I always get them when they are on sale. They make my storage closet smell nice even without the warmer.

    Anytime I have company, I like to use the waxmelts – the don’t seem as overpowering as the candles, and you don’t have the smoke and such.

    I thought this website is running the some low income family person who needs to save money as much as we do. But when this person living in 500K mansion makes me to think that all this idea of savings it is just a commercial move of Publix. Even if you do get something for free, store is not loosing money because it gets money back from coupons. I bet after so many years of using I heart Publix many people are stunned right now.

      I am confused by your comment…why do you have to be a low income family to want to save money?

      It shouldn’t matter if you make 25K per year, 50K per year or 100K per year…saving money is important no matter what. I would much rather be a frugal shopper and keep more money in MY pocket instead of spending it at checkout? Isn’t that the ultimate goal..to get more for less?!

      It almost seems that you are faulting me for being good at saving money? Would I be somehow more credible if I were a low income single mom? Of course not…

      Keep in mind my site is here just to help you save more moolah. I did this series as I thought it might be fun –but remember you can always just scroll past any content that doesn’t appeal to you 😉

      I look at it in a completely different light. I love this site, because it is allowing me to save money to put down on my dream house. I’m not living paycheck to paycheck, but I still appreciate saving money. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t. My husband and I are currently using this site as a means to save money for a down payment on our dream house. Each week, I deposit my “savings” from the bottom of my receipt into our savings account. I have been using this site for a little over a year now, and can’t believe how a simple lifestyle change (and the only change I have made is the fact that I coupon, not what I purchase) can have a huge impact on our ability to save for a future home. With the time I dedicate each week to searching for the deals that are literally laid out for me, I can only imagine how much time and leg work goes on behind the scenes! I say that you deserve everything you have and more! And I think you have heard all of us say thank you from time to time, but in all honesty, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart! Finding this site was the best thing that has happened to our finances! We now look at all purchases, not simply our purchases from Publix, differently. To insinuate that only those who are struggling financially deserve to save money is insulting (in my opinion). As for myself, I look forward to the upcoming days to get a glimpse of your gorgeous house. I would be lying if I didn’t say I was curious. Plus, it’s nice to dream about how we will spend all of our “savings” on our future house!

    I love to have them all over the house. I love the moment I step through the front door and it smells like “Home”. My husband says the same thing when he comes home from work. He has told me he loves the way our house smells.

    We use Glade candles in our stick home–I love the clean linen scent. And they last such a long time!!!

    In our “house on wheels” (the motor home), I use the plug-ins for that fresh smell. Again, the clean linen scent is my go to fragrance but during the holidays I use apple cinnamon.

    I set the mood depending on season. I like the clean linen in spring time, lavendar vanilla in summer, and cinnamon/apple in fall.

    I use Glade plug-ins in my garage while I’m preparing for a Garage/yard sale. I put my car in the drive way a couple of days prior to the sale, put up the fold out tables, plug in the glade; place items for sale on the tables This helps give a good smell to the items for sale. Somehow I want to believe it helps people buy things.

    I like to use Glade products to set the mood in the following ways: I like to use the Plug Ins clean linen in the living room because my main entry way is there and people get a sense that your home is clean when they smell that welcoming fragrance. I use the Hawaiian Breeze or Lavender scent spray and also the candles in the bathroom and bedrooms. For the kitchen, I like the apple cinnamon or pumpkin fragrance. It gives me the comfort of mom’s apple pie or cinnamon rolls without the calories. This is a really fun contest. Thanks Michelle and Glade….

    First of all – awesome way to hide a Glade warmer in your décor! This is a great idea I might steal for my home.

I don’t care if you are a millionaire (of course you might not do this if you were) you save me loads of money and I love what you do. Of course if I were a millionaire I think I would still want to save money, so I would have even more to help others with. Thanks for all you do to help us save money. Those who don’t want to save money don’t have to come to your site. It seems childish to be jealous of what others have. but that seems to be the way of the world these days.      I use Glade to set the mood for relaxation. A clean smelling house is a relaxing feeling. After I cook a hefty meal, the smell can linger throughout the air, but Glade takes care of the cooking smell and replaces it with refreshing scents.

     I’ve never tried the wax melts, but they really do add a decorative touch the way you have it displayed. I use the oil plug ins in my kitchen right by the stove, so something always smells good.

     I love both the oil warmers and the candles. The oil warmers I change depending on the season and the mood we are in. Keep it festive and light. The candles I add to relax us at the end of the day and keep the lights off and enjoy the night!

     First of all I have to say, holy cow, I absolutely love your house!!! and the kitchen!?!??! Wow! I’m a foodie/cook so that’s always my favorite room in the house! Yours is the dream kitchen! Very nice! Now back to the contest…. I like to set the mood my discretely having my plugins all across the house, upstairs and down. That way you get a continual smell as you go to different areas of the house…makes it all smell good, not just one room per say. At night, I love turning down the dimmer light and using the candles all over! Not only does it give the house a sense of tranquil romance and peace -heck either way it’s pretty- it also smells great!! win win!

     I always try to tie my scent choices to the season. They say that scent is one of our biggest memory triggers so I tend to use scents that bring back good memories for each season. Summer is coming and that is almost always a beachy tropical smell. I think that is one everybody can relate something happy with.

     Since we live in a home that is over 30 years old it can sometimes develop smells that I don’t like and I use some sort of scent – candle, melts, plug-ins – almost all the time to freshen up the air.
