How can it be free if the Publix policy is one competitor coupon OR a Publix coupon with a manufacturers coupon??? By my calculation, it would be $1.79. Still a fabulous deal….but that’s not free.

  2. Kabbie says

Thank you so much for posting. I so wanted to get a deal on this and even with just the $2 Publix coupon is great for me.

  3. Cindy Tenaglia says

Got it….two manufacturers coupons at $2.00 each and a competitor coupon OR Publix coupon. That would make it a small money maker. Thank you for helping me see my error!

  4. Jennifer says

also found a $1MQ in this weeks Petco ad…it says redeemabale at Petco, but it has manufacaturers coupon on the top

    Wheres this publix coupon located?”

    It’s not a Publix $2.00 coupon it’s a Target.

    • Melissa says

Publix Q is on the Publix Paws coupons sites. Target Q is on target site. Both are for $2 off, both are store Q’s so either one will work for this scenario

      • Cheryl S says

I’ve had problems using multiples of these Target q’s. It’s a hit or miss. The wording on the Target q is questionable. I don’t have one right in front of me because I’m at work, but it’s something to the effect of “One coupon per person or visit”…It’s not exactly like that, but very similar. I tried a few at a Publix and was told I could only use one, but then went to another publix a mile away and they took them with no problem. Just a heads up.

          • Tomoko says

It just happened to me yesterday. My cashier didn’t take 2 Target coupons for this deal either. The cahier said “the coupon said Limit one coupon per guest so I can only take one!”.

        • JeffVL says

That’s because Target corp and their “coupon” )inhouse or contracted) people are oblivious to what they are writing on their coupons. For example, they just put out an “earth month” coupon book for earth day? that had 27 coupons in it. The last coupon in the book for Yes to body care item had the usual “Valid in store… Void if copied…” etc. etc.
Only 1 line is important > “Limit one coupon or offer per guest”. This is the same verbage that is on most of their internet coupons.

The other 26 various coupons had the “Valid in store… Void if copied…” etc. etc. BUT… On these coupons there was no “quantity” restrictions” > these coupons had > “Limit one manufacturer and one Target coupon per item”.

First off …”Limit one coupon or offer per guest” means that out of 27 coupons in the book… you can only use one coupon… AND once you use that coupon… you can never use another coupon in Target > for life.

And if that was true – why can you print two of each coupon from the Target.com site – one to use just for practice? Or a momento?

Currently, I am in a dialogue w/ corporate/district/store mgr to find out the problem.

SmartSource Coupon Machine” (red box coupons in Publix), Publix coupons, (in flyers YAB GAB etc)… you can get multiple coupons – AND USE MULTIPLE COUPONS – most are (verbage) Limit one coupon per purchase… which is for each coupon that you use – it is valid for 1 item. (Not like… say Shoney’s or Denny’s where you can use one coupon for up to 4 people – if it states that).

Of course – be reasonable – they aren’t going to let you clear the shelves because you purchased 1000 coupons on eBay for some free item.

Publix – using their own store coupons or competitor coupon – is not getting reimbursed – that’s why they don’t care what the competitor stores coupon or policy is/says – only publixs (they do have to follow mfr Qs verbage to get their $$ + 8 cents, though)

It took me 1 Hour and 6 minutes (and 9 store personnel – cashiers to night mgrs) to purchase 8 items at walmart(sux) – (sorry – those two words just naturally go together) because of price matching cluelessness of their personnel and a coupon policy that contradicts their price/ad match policy.

And yes, I called corporate and I’m waiting for a call back from the store mgr and district mgr. (It’s happened more than twice).

And no – I personnally don’t have any of these kind of problems at PUBLIX – where shopping is still a pleasure.

Oh… And I do like Target… and like shopping there… walmart(sux) on the other hand

I try to buy lots of dog food when its free to donate so I went to a site that sells coupons and checked on this $2 man coupon that is suppose to be out tomorrow. They have it in stock and it says that the special language on this coupon states “no other coupon may be used to purchase the same package(s)” Does that mean we can’t use the store coupon with it? Has anyone recieved this coupon early seen that language? TIA

    • Shelley says

This just means one Publix coupon per item. Every item is allowed 1 Publix (or store competitor) coupon and one manufacturer coupon.

  7. Milissa says

Publix stating “one coupon per item” means one store coupon per item.

Manufacturer stating, “no other coupon many be used to purchase the same packages” means no other manufacturer coupon can be used. They started putting this on coupons due to people using bogo coupons with $/off coupons, from my understanding.

Publix/Target coupons are considered store coupons.

Manufacturer coupons will be reimbursed by the manufacturer.

Whoooooooooooo! So excited about this! We have 3 dogs so we go through about 10 cups of dog food each day! I’m glad I put off my shopping trip which I usually do on Wednesdays or I would have used up all my Target Qs!

  9. Fe says

I worked last night, so I’m a little tired. But it’s essentially one MQ and one store coupon PER bag, correct?… Which would also be roughly a $2 money maker?

  10. Linda says

Darn it, I already used my Publix and Target coupons to get it cheap! Oh well, still a good deal to get it so cheap!

  11. kellie says

    Got 4 bags this morning
    $5.79×4 = $23.16
    – bogo = 11.58
    Then used 2 $2/1 Publix coupons = $7.58
    Then used 2 $2/1 Target competitor coupons = $3.58
Then used 2 $2/1 Manufacturer coupons = $0-.42 that I got to put toward my milk! Thanks so much!

  12. Jeremy says

There is a Publix internet printable on their website; $2/1 purina dry dog food 3-34lbs & $2/1 beneful coupon in the Sunday’s Paper(4-29-12). Beneful is BOGO this week, the small bags.

  13. neely says

I just wanted to say that making donations to a shelter is great, but for those of us who have dogs and need the food it stinks when the shelves are cleaned out from someone just wanting to donate it. Also another point is that people who need things from a shelter should have already minimized their lives to get rid of that expense.

    • Tom says

Here in South Florida, haven’t seen any shelves cleaned out, didn’t buy any because the dog we have doesn’t eat that brand, but if you live in South Florida, the Publix on Sheridan and Pine Island road had 75 bags at least, that was about noon today.

  14. Joany says

I’m in need of 1 target $2 off beneful coupon. My printer wasn’t working and now the coupon is already gone form targets website. Anyone who can help please email me at joenmoe1234@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance!

And there was also a “secret” sale @ Publix on the kit n kaboodle 16lb size but it went back to $9.99 before I was able to post… sorry. (was the same price as 3.5lb)

  17. JeffVL says

This is the same as what was posted above, but I was trying to post on current date – Thanx
