We always have a salad to start our meal, so I’m glad to see that Wishbone dressing is part of the event. We’ll probably have pasta with Ragu sauce (and throw in some Cascadian Farm veggies to make it a bit heftier) and then Ben & Jerry’s for dessert. 😉

  22. Cassandra says

For my family, I’ve started cooking chicken in the slow cooker this way and it is amazing. I am Cuban-American so I try to incorporate the best of both worlds into my cooking.
-Take either 3-4 frozen chicken breasts or unfrozen and put in slow cooker.
-On top pour Mojo marinade (about 1/2 cup – 3/4 cup). You can find mojo marinade in the hispanic section.
    – Pour some Adobe dry spice on chicken or use whatever you usually use.
Cook frozen on low 6-8 hours, unfrozen low 4 hours.
For an extra kicker use 1 bottle Pace salsa while your cooking chicken. It will shred easily and you can use for quesdillas, tacos, etc.

  23. Leslie says

We are trying the Chipotle Ranch Taco salad tonight. I have the pace picante and wish bone dressing in my stockpile. I also follow you on facebook. Thanks for all the hard work.

  24. Lorri says

Have you tried the Apron’s recipe for chili? THAT is what I will make using items from the Publix Best Meals At Home promo. We were in the store a few days ago and they were giving out samples. It was delicious and my kids loved it. It was super fast and easy to make at home. I had no leftovers – most unusual for my picky kids! You can get the recipe on the Publix site, but I’ll save you a little time. Here it is:

    1 onion, coarsely chopped
1 1/2 lb ground chuck beef
    3 tablespoons chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 (10.75-oz) can condensed tomato soup
    1 (14.5-oz) can diced tomatoes/sweet onions (undrained)
1 (10-oz) can milder diced tomatoes/green chiles (undrained)
1 (16-oz) can chili beans in mild sauce (undrained)
1 (15-oz) can black beans (drained)

    •Chop onion; divide in half.
1.Preheat large saucepan on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Place beef, chili powder, seasoned salt, pepper, and one-half of the onions in pan; cook 4–5 minutes, stirring to crumble meat, or until meat is brown and no pink remains.
2.Stir in remaining ingredients, including remaining one-half onions. Bring to a boil, stirring often.
3.Reduce heat to low; cook and stir 10 more minutes to blend flavors. Serve.

  31. April M. says

    4 ingredient chicken:
    Chicken breast
    sour cream
    Campbell’s Cream of Chicken soup

Lay chicken in the blended soup and sour cream in a casserole dish. Make the stuffing as directed and lay on top of the chicken, soup and sour cream. Bake at 425 for 45 minutes until done. SO good but you have to use Campbell’s Cream of Chicken soup or it won’t turn out as good!

  32. Ginger says

I like to make chicken enchiladas. I use ICBNB to saute the chicken, then add ElPaso refried beans and Pace picante sauce in my recipe. Then we follow up dinner with Ben & Jerrys ice cream for dessert. YUM!

  41. Melissa Perdomo says

My husband and I tag-team some super fast yet awesome chicken enchiladas. I shred chicken from a rotisserie chicken or leftover chicken breasts and fill flour tortillas (Old El Paso) with chicken and some shredded cheese and roll them up. I put enough of the rolled up tortillas to fill a rectangle glass baking dish (about 6-8.) (You can add sauteed peppers and onions if you wish to those or just chicken and cheese. Then you take a can of cream of chicken soup (Campbells) and mix with a tub of light sour cream and a small can of chopped chilies. Pour mixture over rolled up tortillas and sprinkle with some more mexican shredded cheese. Bake approx 20 min til bubbly at 350. You can serve with a side of salsa if you like (Pace) and some yellow rice. Yum!

  42. Angela says

One of our favorites is pork chops and noodles. Take boneless pork chops- spread one side with mustard- then salt, pepper and dredge in Gold Medal flour. Lightly brown in a small amount of oil. Place in baking dish and spoon noodles from Campbell’s chicken noodle soup. Add enough water to remaining soup to cover bottom of baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until chops are done. Add some Lipton iced tea . . . yummy!
